Before you send this

Why. To read your pitch, assess whether it fits what we can publish, and reply to you — the steps you asked us to take by submitting it.

Legal basis. GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. The anti-abuse log rests on Article 6(1)(f). We do not ask you to consent as a condition of using this form, and none of these fields is optional — we collect only what the assessment needs.

What you send us. Studio name, contact email, game title, genre, target platforms, your pitch text, the two links you gave us, and the funding band — the form asks for nothing beyond these nine fields. What the server additionally records is set out below.

How long we keep it. 24 months from your last message, then deleted.

What the server records automatically

A truncated one-way hash (SHA-256) of your IP address, with the time of each submission.

Purpose: To count submissions per sender so the forms cannot be flooded. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address, and the raw address is never written to the database.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable. Kept: The counter file is deleted 24 hours after your last submission.

Linked to your submission: Yes — the same hash is stored in the row with your submission, so an abusive sender can be identified and removed. It is deleted with the row.

Standard web-server log lines: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status, and the browser user-agent string.

Purpose: Security, abuse investigation and diagnosing errors. This is recorded for every request to any page of this site, not only when you send a form.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in operating the service securely. Kept: 30 days, then deleted.

Linked to your submission: No. Server logs are not joined to submissions and are not used to build a profile.

An application event log recording that a submission was stored, with its reference — no names, addresses, message text or IP addresses.

Purpose: To detect failures, such as a submission that could not be saved.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in a working service. Kept: 30 days.

Linked to your submission: Only by the reference shown to you after sending, which is not personal data on its own.

Who else can see it: Hostinger International Limited, which operates the server in Düsseldorf, Germany as our processor under Article 28. Nothing is disclosed to any third party for that party’s own purposes.

No analytics or advertising tag is loaded on this site, and no third-party request is made while you use this form. Requests go to our own server only.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under Art. 21 at any time — write to info@checkpointnomad.com. You may complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency. Full detail in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Anti-abuse logs are kept 30 days.

What to have ready

A downloadable build — Steam key page, itch.io, a Drive link, anything that runs.
A one-page design document; more if you have it, but one page is enough.
An honest read on what is left to build and roughly what it costs.

Your material

Your build and documents are used to assess the pitch and for nothing else. They are processed by us and by the providers that host this site and its database on our documented instructions — never disclosed to a third party for that party’s own purposes.

How we handle it

After you send it

The CVR record shows this registration ceased on 26.06.2026. Messages are stored and answered at info@checkpointnomad.com as correspondence only. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (Europe/Copenhagen). We publish no turnaround target we have not measured — what we commit to is that the answer comes, and that it comes from info@checkpointnomad.com.

Before you ask

Does submitting cost anything?

No. Submission and assessment are free, and we never ask a developer to pay to be considered or published.

Do I have to sign an NDA first?

No. We read submissions without one and we do not pass your build or documents to anyone outside the assessment. If your publisher or platform requires an NDA before you can share a build, tell us and we will sign one.

What happens to my data?

Your submission is kept for 24 months and then deleted. It is used to assess the pitch and to reply to you — nothing else. Full detail in the privacy policy.

Will I get an answer if it is a no?

Yes. Every submission is read and answered at the address you gave us. A no from us is a fit judgement, not a verdict on your game.

Submitting a pitch does not create a publishing agreement. Any deal is set out in a signed contract, and we do not charge developers a fee to read or evaluate a submission.

Development funding is a commercial publishing agreement financed from Checkpoint Nomad’s own capital and recouped from revenue of the published title. It is not a loan, deposit, security, investment product or public offering, and we give no financial advice.
